5. Visualisation Project
I draw petals in different layers to prepare for 2D animation.
I took background photos.
The effect I want to achieve.
Firstly, I made a mind map to think about things about me that I could use for the project.
Inspired by Augmented Reality (AR), I want to do a few shots that puts virtuality and reality together to show the meaning of my art to my life.
I tried multiple AR special effects such as fireworks, snow, fire, animals, characters on this interesting app and above is an example.
I browsed through my album to look for suitable artwork.
Here is my storyboard.
I plan to film the background with black and white, and the artwork and special effects with colours. The concept is that art brings colour to my boring everyday life (especially during covid!).
I understand the moving part is supposed to be filmed but mine is going to be illustrated and animated to better convey my concept, and this is approved by the tutor.

1.’What if’ Questions
What if the world is upside-down?
What if a house can float in the air?
What if a palace is built underwater?
What if a town is built on a giant tree?
What if we manage to live on Mars?
